For three weeks, SongFest will be your home away from home, school away from school, and so much more! The experience you will have is priceless.

Costs

TUITION: $2700
HOUSING/MEALS:
$2600 (Single bedroom occupancy)
APPLICATION FEE: $25
EARLY BIRD NO APPLICATION FEE: Due February 23, 2026
YAP TRACKER APPLICATION: Due March 13, 2026

Payment

A non-refundable $700 housing fee deposit (which will be credited to the balance of fees) is due and must be received two weeks after written acceptance into the program, but no later than April 1. The housing/meals balance (minus $700 deposit) is due in full April 10.

Tuition balance is due in full April 10, 2026.

A partial refund of $1000 will be given on the housing/meals if notified IN WRITING and received by April 15, 2026. No refunds will be given on any portion of the fees (tuition/housing/meals), including the non-refundable $700 deposit.

Scholarships & Financial Aid

Scholarship Policy

Please know that scholarships are very limited. With very few exceptions, scholarship decisions are based on merit. The four Brown Loranger full fellowships’are full fellowships and are presented in recital with a faculty pianist

To be considered for any scholarship assistance by the Scholarship Committee, except for the Art Song Prize and Brown Loranger which is on merit alone you must submit ALL required documents with or before your application is submitted. Any award will be included with your acceptance letter.

Please note that deposit deadlines stated in acceptance letters will not be extended if scholarship applications have not been completed. If you apply for a scholarship please follow all the directions outlined below.

CANADIAN SINGERS & PIANIST APPLICANTS: The Art Song Foundation from Canada generously supports Canadian citizens’ assistance to attend an ART SONG SUMMER FESTIVAL. SongFest is on the approved list and many singers and pianists have received financial aid in previous years. SongFest Fellowship, Scholarship and Prize Opportunities

  • The Art Song Prize – This prize will offer 2 young artists (1 singer and 1 pianist) to work closely with internationally renowned pianist Martin Katz and other senior faculty. Both pianist and singer chosen will receive $1,000 cash prize and full tuition.

    Opportunity: Perform on the Brown Loranger Fellowship recital program.  

  • The Brown Loranger Full Merit Fellowships – 4  singers will be chosen for a full fellowship.

    Opportunity: Featured in a recital with a faculty pianist. 

  • Young Artist Fellows – $1,000 partial tuition awarded to 2 outstanding singers in the Young Artist Program.

    Opportunity: Featured in a noon concert.
